Hi, I really need some help. My game wont start when I click on it. When I click on the icon on the desktop it comes up on the starting screen where it says play. When I click on it nothing happens. When I try to start it up in its folder it also dosnt open. I have tried re installing the game but no difference I have updated it to the latest patch and still nothing.
Please Help.

What did you do before it stopped working? Or did the game crash?
I just thought about something else, maybe the save is broken.
Move all saves out of the save game folder and try again. The saves are here: my documents\pcm13\users\your name\database\solo\name of db\
If the game works, then you can continue your career by copying the latest file from the weeklysave folder to your save game folder, then load it in the game.

It was working fine after I first installed it for like 3 months but then I didn't play for a while. When I then decided to play again it didn't work?
Tried moving the files out of the solo folder and no diffenece.
Have you got any other ideas.
Also should I put my saved games back into the solo folder.
Thanks

You could put them back but my next suggestion is to delete everything related to the game, so you might want to wait with putting them back until after the game works again.

Reset the settings of Pro Cycling Manager 2011:
(Beware, it will erase your progress if you don't make a copy of the folder named Users)
A. My documents
1. Click Windows Start button and click My Documents or Documents.
2. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder.
3. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2011.
B. Roaming folder
1. Open Computer then Local Disk (C:).
2. Open Users folder.
3. Open your username folder.
4. Open AppData folder (*)
5. Open Roaming folder.
6. Delete Pro Cycling Manager 2011 folder.
7. Run Pro Cycling Manager 2011.
(*) Note that on some Windows systems the application data folder is hidden by default.
Here is how to make it visible:
Open the Folder Options by clicking the Start button and click Control Panel.
On the Control Panel, click Appearance and Personalization and click Folder Options.
On the Folder Options, click on the View tab.
Under the Advanced settings, click Show hidden files and folders and click Ok.
This is a hint from PCM11, so adapt the folder names if needed.

No still nothing?
When I click on it there is a second where it loads but then nothing happens and when I click on it again it says that the game is already running but isn't any where.

Try this:
Remove everything as mentioned above
Uninstall the game
Install the game
Test if it works
Install the patch
Test if it works |

You don't need to de-activate the game during de-installation.

Reinstall the game without losing activation
If you want to reinstall the game without losing an activation, you only have to click on "cancel" when you are asked to de-activate your key. That way your key will remains in your registry. After the installation, do not re-activate the game. |

In this case the problem might not be caused by the game itself.
Sorry but I cannot think of other solutions and I cannot fix your computer.
You can always contact the official support in case you have not done that already. |

Do you run by any chance another programs like MSI afterburner, precision X, RivaTuner or something similar? or injectors like sweetfx?
Anyway when you click on Play does PCM.exe shows up in task manager? |
