Start history?

Normaly, there is a final Patch and a final Daily pack for the final version of the game...

Just a simple question:

Can I start now a career mode and a history and update it or if I start a new game, if I update the game, I have to start another one?

I remember last year, I think, I have to wait...

Well, you can start a game and when the Daily pack comes out you can download it and put variants etc. in your game using an editor. You only have to copy the list with variants (and other stuff) in the final db and paste it in your game db.

Well, it's better to start a new career when the Daily pack comes out(which is really soon)

Otherwise you won't profit of the new stats, races and teams.

Also, @Mrufo87 You don't have to edit the .cdb for variants, they will be applied automatically if added in the CM_stages folder(and named correctly)

I know there are a few really good packs/Db like the italian one.

So, I can start my history with that Db and then install the last patch remain. It´s OK?

Obviusly, the thing is that I want to start a new long history without problems!

Well, if you want to start a really long career, you can wait for the Daily DB, you won't have to wait too long(a week maybe? I don't know for sure)

Yes, the French Community DB, ItalianDB & Focus DB look good. (First one being the best IMO).
But a lot of guys are waiting for the PCMdaily one now, since that's a very good pack most of the time.

Yes, the variants are placed in the game folder, but you have to edit them in your database because otherwise your saved game doesn't read it. Or is that changed at PCM13?
