Reus, Botcharov, Bertogliati, Zampieri, Lhotellerie, Nolf, Celestino and Voeckler.
The break won't make it today though, and the last of the break is caught with 5km to go, just in time for a sprint. Steven de Jongh leads the sole train, with Robbie McEwen tucked in his wheel.
Then comes Freire, Dumoulin, Forero, Bennati, and Haedo.
De Jongh waited until 2.2km to go before starting the sprint and Freire was soon away.
McEwen seemed unsure at first but soon realised he had to make his move to try and catch up with Freire. Bennati stayed behind Forero for too long though and effectively killed his chances.
With one kilometre to go, Freire is looking very good, but what can Dumoulin do and can McEwen come steaming through?
Dumoulin immediately moved to the right in order to prevent McEwen from coming past, it seems the frenchman is not aiming for 1st, but for 2nd. So Oscar Freire managed to pull away and take a comfortable victory. Dumoulin's plan failed as McEwen came through for 2nd.
The game crashed on the podiums so I dont have any exported results, no change in the GC though and I suspect that the points classification is now a lot tighter.
