Hi Guys,
There is possibly another thread on this already. But after not having too much help for the guy himself, i was hoping to ask for some guidance with using this software.
My main issue is changing data ingame! I am able to to edit data and start a new career absolutely fine, but i don't want to do this. I was hoping that there would be a guide or something explaining how i would open the current database i am using - change the data to how i want it - then open up the game and all the changes have been made.
Your help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Ian. |

I am not sure what you are talking about.
Do you want to edit the save of your career?
The save would be here: my documents\pcm2013\users\your name\database\solo\name of DB\
(This officially is the 1000th time I have posted the save game location in this forum now.)

Are you sure that you clicked 'export to .cdb' instead of save database? You should click export to .cdb,'otherwise it won't affect the savegame

Are you sure you didn't click Play last savegame or something instead of open the savegame you edited?

As said by Jesleyh, you should use "Export to cdb" to create a cdb file.
I recommend not to overwrite the save just in case something went wrong while editing.
In the game, click LOAD. Then select the created file.
"Save" and "Load" in my editor can be used to pause your editing. So you save. And when you return, you can load and continue to edit. Saving and loading is faster than extracting and exporting cdb files. |

Thanks for the help guys! I was just clicking save database and not exporting it. Will make sure i don't overwrite the file, as you have suggested Lachi.
Cheers,
Ian. |

You need to be more specific about your problem. Is there an error message or other message?
First you should extract the content from the RAR file into an empty folder.
Then double click on the file called LachisEditor.exe to start the editor.

Then I double click on the LachisEditor icon, nothing happens, even not a error message. It just shows the working-cursor for a few seconds, and then disappear again.
I tried to open the Start Task Manager to see if it's running, but it isn't.
I currently use Tiny7 as my operating system, I dont know if that can cause some kind of trouble? |
