game crashes..

quite often - well more often with this version then others atleast - my game crashes. This time it is stuck and i cant get by that date. I havent got any races scheduled that my team is participating in, there are 2 lowly rated races. driesdage de panne and grand prix de portugal
i was thinking that someone here might be able to help?? My save was just about to become really good, so i´d appreciate some help

the date is 25/5 and it crashes while simulating and i cant play the stage. I´ve encountered this 3 times in 3 different careers and it has resulted in me not getting a game going.. The 3 games have all had problems and on different dates.
So im looking for a work around, so i can get on with playing the game. |

Did you see the name of the crashing stage? Which one is it?
Maybe the stage file is broken. Can you look at stage profile of that stage in the game?
Another way to check if the stage is broken is playing that stage in single stage mode.
Another possibility could be to load a backup and try it again. The backups are in the folder weeklysave. Copy the latest file to your save game folder. Then load the backup in the game.
The saves are here: my documents\pcm13\users\your name\database\solo\name of DB\

Considering it is consistent across several saves...
Have you edited that race?
Are you using the same database for each?
Is they are different dates are there any similarities, like something you or the ai has done etc.
I would imagine the skipping a day tip would work if not.

Does the exact same race(so same version of the race, not a variant, which is different) still work in stage-race mode?
