Vacansoleil
Team: Netapp-Endura (not really)
DB: Nils Eriks DB (Used the original, edited the stats of every rider to reality, edited the favourite race column to reality, deleted riders who have retired and added the best young talents. Download link will come, if someone wants that.) This means that BMC will ride in grey (I think). This is because I like that grey colour, and don't care enough to fix it onto a Daily DB.
Difficulty: Will start with hard.
Evolution: 0,4
Random potential: No

Team Roster
Vacansoleil is a team with lots of pretty good riders, but with a lack of stars. Still, there are some riders that we are expecting more of than others.
Juan Antonio Flecha
Juan is the man with the most power on the flats in the team and will be our leader on the cobble classics. He is also the only in the team, that is able to get a victory in races where the whole world elite is participating. He will look forward to the early classics in the season, but will take on the Tour de France as well, as a road captain.
Thomas De Gendt
Thomas is our biggest GC hope in the great tours, and will be our leader in the Tour. He is a good climber and time triallist, and his excellent recovery means he can regain much time in the last days. He will also be an important rider for every race he takes part in, as he is always in attack-mode, and therefore he can manage to get some victories from breakaways.
Kenny Van Hummel
Kenny is the main sprinter on the team. He is not able to follow Cav or Kittel, but can nevertheless get good results. Kenny's dream for the season is a victory on the Champs Elysees, but he is not sure to be riding the Tour at all, as he totally lacks climbing legs.
Vacansoleil has many other good riders as well, but because this part is boring to write, and most of the readers skip it (I'm not really sure, but I do it myself) I don't write anymore about them. I am sure you all know Vacansoleil anyway.
Here are the rest of the team:
It is in norwegian, but you will understand.
Sponsor Goals
Vacansoleil will quit the sponsorate this year, but still they have got many requirements for us to fulfill. Here they are: (listed, haven't the slightest idea on how to make a table in a post)
Top 3 Omloop het Nieuwsblad (Flecha)
Stage Win Paris-Nice (De Gendt)
1st Tirreno-Adriatico (Poels)
Top 10 Milano – San Remo (Flecha)
Top 5 Gent-Wevelgem (Flecha)
Top 3 Ronde Van Vlaanderen (Flecha)
Top 3 Paris-Roubaix (Flecha)
Top 5 Amstel Gold Race (Leukemans)
Top 5 Fleche Wallonne (Lagutin)
Top 10 Liege–Bastogne–Liege (Leukemans)
Top 3 Giro D'Italia (Poels)
Stage Win Criterium de Dauphine (Westra)
Top 5 NC Holland (Westra)
Stage Win Tour de France (De Gendt)
Stage Win Vuelta a Espana (Poels)
This is a bunch of challenging challenges (good english here), but I am sure we can do some of them.

Before I start: I write in my own way, and I think (and hope) this can be a story which stands out from the rest of the stories in here. Still, this does not mean that you readers like it (especially as my language is significantly worse when I am writing in english) but I hope it can be a success. What I can say is that I don't like to give up. I have made careers until 2021 on PCM11, and I can say that this story will last long (just hope no usual PCM bugs gets a hit). My graphic abilities are quite bad, so don't expect this to be a masterpiece graphically. The first picture really shows what I mean. The last thing to mark is that my screenshots won't contain graphics as my computer is bad.
Free to post.

Good luck
A victory at both Dutch champs should be possible, if you peak Westra for the Tour he should be able to handle the ITT with relative ease.

How do you want to accomplish a top 3 in giro with Poels? Pretty tough goal if you ask me. |

Poels has got the Giro as a favourite race, so I choose him to ride the Giro instead of De Gendt. A top 3 will be very hard still. |

I'll follow this project. Time to make De Gendt a more consistent rider. |

Good luck with this! Some tough goals in the spring
Maybe you can put the calendar in a table from Word/Excel:
Date --- Nationality --- Race name?
Ps. Van Poppel > Markus > Van Hummel
But alright, doesn't matter, Vacansoleil is a great team choice
Oh, and making a joke about the stat BRO and that it's the team strength is hard to resist.

And it's racing time!
Since 1st of January many news has come. We all knew that our team had to look for new sponsor next season, but both Radioshack and Europcar would have the same problems this season, as none of their sponsors were to extend their agreements. Some other news is that Cofidis, Europcar and Saur got the wild-cards for the Tour de France, and Simon Gerrans became the australian champion 2013.
Tour Down Under
Tour Down Under is our first race of the season, and our troops were ready:
Sergey Lagutin
Kris Boeckmans
Grega Bole
Johnny Hoogerland
Pim Ligthart
Boy Van Poppel
Lieuwe Westra
It looks like a really strong team, but only some of the guys are in shape. This means Sergey will be our main GC contender and Boy would take on the mass sprints, with Kris as lead-out. For the others this is just training, or hopefully helping Sergey save energy.
After looking at the start-list we found out that this could end up good for Vacansoleil. Very few sprinters, and few punchy riders was preparing for the race. Sergey was considered as one of the biggest favourites, along with Moreno Moser (Cannondale), Alexander Kolobnev (Katusha) and Geraint Thomas (Sky). But first it was time for a sprint stage.
_________________________
Stage 1
The first stage began as a first stage should, with a small breakaway slipping away from a nervous peleton after a long time with hard pace. What was not normal was that the two companions in front would get such a gap. The british champion Ian Stannard (Sky) and the swede Tobias Ludvigsson (Argos) managed to get more than 7 minutes down to the peloton, and could look to hold all the way to the finish line. The peloton was unsure and nervous, noone knew about the shape of their sprinters, compared to their rivals, so no team wanted to take the initiative in the peloton. In front Ludvigsson showed himself as the strongest man, by taking the climbing jersey, as well as beating Stannard on the intermediate sprint.
5 km to the finish line the break was caught after hard work by Radioshack and Garmin (for Hondo and Hunter) and we prepared for the sprint. Kris was in the back of the peloton, and we understood that Boy had to make it on his own. He found the wheel of the strongest sprinter in the race, Greg Henderson, at the back of the Lotto train.
Unfortunately this was a train far behind Astanas and Garmins,
but Boy got good help from the slipstream of Greg, and when he made his move only 100 metres from the line, he was still in a victory position. Elia Favilli for Lampre, Henderson and Bozic was still in front, but they had all launched their sprints too early.
And it is Boy, who takes the first victory of the season, with an unbelievable sprint, and a great lead-out by Henderson!
1. Boy Van Poppel (Vacansoleil)
2. Borut Bozic (Astana)
3. Elia Favilli (Lampre)
4. Greg Henderson (Lotto)
5. Guillaume Boivin (Cannondale)
6. Kenny Dehaes (Lotto)
7. Danilo Hondo (Radioshack)
8. Samuel Dumoulin (Ag2r)
9. Francesco Gavazzi (Astana)
10. Matteo Trentin (Omega Pharma-Quick Step

Forgot to set the difficulty to hard, this has been done after this stage.
Thanks for the response, fantastic for me, who are used to the more boring response at PCMNorge story forums
The first one is ironic, Net-App was just a random team, could have write any team except for Vacansoleil there. As Vacansoleil already were the heading, I reckoned you all would still understand.
