It took me a while to consider how to articulate my question, and I'm still not sure if I have it right, but a question unanswered beats a question unasked I reckon.

I've been considering buying PCM 13 (possibly through steam) I've been a fan of the series for a long time, although there have been many years where I didn't play it. The last version I played is the 2010 one. I actually reinstalled it on my current PC which leads to this post in a sense.

I am -horrible- with computers (i'm over 30, must be it), and I'm seeing a fair number of complaints about crashing and incompatible drives and whatnot in the steam comments. the 2010 version I reinstalled on my 4x intel 2.8ghz (i'm not sure what that means) Dell pc. I think this is my videocard: ati Radeon hd 5450. On those specs 2010 doesn't really run smoothly. That is to say, I need to turn down all the settings quite low to be able to have a 3d race that doesn't look like a slideshow.

this being the 2010 version only barely working, I'm very afraid the 2013 version won't work at all.

I'm open to any piece of advice and I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong forum or anything.

i say you shouldt buy at least wait a couple of month for the fixes and a proper working database
