How do I reset rider objectives?

The first season I played in a career, I was able to reset rider objectives by removing the computer generated objectives and then adding my own. I am now a few years into a career and when I try to remove objectives, the fitness levels do not go back to red. Clicking the "Reset" button does nothing, either. Anybody have a work around? I tried just adding my own and moving forward, but all of my riders were run into the ground this past season despite only have 3-4 objectives and only riding 40-45 days each.

Please help.

It should be obvious, just adjust the bars. Left click to raise, right click to lower.

BTW: The reset button works, but not when you need it.

You can't have missed it, because that was added in the patch.
(The bars and the not working reset button.)
