Saved over game save accidently.

I'm an idiot.

I went to edit the season planner outside of my current PCM save to just quickly change two of the riders I had scheduled for my Giro d'Italia because I noticed a clash inside my game save which meant I only had 7 riders something I noticed when about to schedule my training camp preparation for them.

Unfortunately in the rush of doing all of this, I criminally forgot to duplicate the save and so overwrote the save and forgot the settings were last saved at the beginning of the second season. So although now I have a faultless Giro team ready, my save like all the others I have, is now set at the start of Season 2 and not the position I was at, days before the Paris-Nice race.

My question is, if I know the results (which I roughly do) can I in some way input these manually to pretty much put me back where I was in terms of dates and stage wins and ranking points? If not, is there a way, although I am doubtful, that I can undo this error.

I rather suggest that you copy the latest backup in the weeklysave folder and continue with that instead.

I never knew such a thing existed.

Thank you for your swift and sound advice, luckily the weekly save was during my game play today and is only 2 stages away from where I was at. I must remember to be more careful when editing my season planners in future and make certain I copy the database before carelessly saving!

The easiest solution is to never overwrite your save when using my season planner.

Also, always remember to do a "New plan" in my season planner after you advanced in the game.
