Only 6 riders in the pre-race window.

I registered 9 riders for the vuelta (tried register different riders) but after choosing the equipment and play-mode the window where I set roles only show 6 riders. Is this a known issue and what to do? |

Update the game. This is no longer an issue, though it was in v1.0.2.0.

Made it through the Vuelta. All riders were in the race but could only change the roles of six of them. The same problem with Vattenfall Cyclassics.
Does this continue for the entire game or does it cease after the season? Have made it through without problems in another save (version 103) and one of the differences is that I signed trainees in this game (the game with problems). |

Nobody can answer that question. You have to wait and see or you make a copy of the save and do a quick sim to the next years races. |

I have a similar issue, though I'm not sure it's exactly the same.
In some stage races some of my riders just disappear from the team selection. They are still mentioned in the Stage equipment window, but when I click on 3D race, two are gone.
When I went back to the classification from the previous ride, I saw both cyclists finishing just fine (so no withdrawal), but their time in the general classification is somehow below zero.
I've had this with other stage races as well previously. Anyone has ever seen this? I'm playing with the 3.0 version. |

I wonder how you achieved it. Did you set the % of these riders to 0 at the end of the race?
Maybe you can get them back into the race by fixing that classification time. The classification is in the table DYN_classification_race.
Also have a look at this tip it contains a lot of information regarding riders participating in races.

No, never changed the % to 0 during the race. They also finished just fine the race before (13th and 20-something).
I'll see if I can change the classification. Thanks for the tip. |

Have you tried this with the PCM2013 editor already? The interface seems different than that in previous versions and doesn't have the many columns anymore. You can just change the general and cycling attributes of the riders now.
Edit; Nevermind, just found the Advanced Editor. Downloading it now.
Edit2: Can't seem to load my savegame in the editor. I get an error report.

Ok, so I used your editor and that did work.
I changed everything as mentioned in the link you provided and I managed to get them back in the race. Thanks!
It's a time-consuming way of fixing though. And it happens regularly, especially in grand tours. I hope it'll be fixed in a next patch. Should I send something to Cyanide or post it somewhere so it can be looked at? |

This never happens in my career so it is not a problem of the game. Are you sure that you have installed the latest patch and that you are playing with a reasonable database? |

After one stage, both Velits and Martin were out again. So I have to edit them back in every stage I want to use them.

Yes, I'm sure about the patch. The database I used is the PCM Daily Real Name DB that I downloaded here a few weeks ago. |

I am using the same database and hadnt seen this problem at all until i hit the Vuelta. The rider list shows only 6/9 riders for each stage but at the end of each stage the missing riders show up in the results. |

I have the exact same issue. I suspect it is caused by 6 rider WT events. Game was fine until TdP/Enceo, after those every race only displays 6 riders (The rest are still there though, if you sim they appear in results and if you 3D thy are there and controllable. Other people seem to be getting the bug around the same time period too.
I'm on steam, which auto updates and i've checked that the patch is updated. So I am thinking the updated only fixes new games and not those already started but doesn't fix a save thats already afflicted. |

Does anyone know of a solution to this issue yet? I have exactly the same problem. Restarted my career and ran into it again. Latest patch, no odd database and it starts during the Vuelta but also applies to other races from that time onwards. No biggie when playing in 3d, but a shame when simulating. |
