Does TT attributes have any effect in a normal race?

Stagiare Posts: 182 Joined: 04-03-2013 PCM$: 200.00	I just watched the 4th stage of the Tour of Poland and Taylor Phinney attacked with around 8KM left and used his great Time Trial skills to time trial hiself to win the stage. So my question is that do time trial skills have any effect in similar situations in the game. Or maybe is that the kinda situation where a high Fighter attribute comes into play?
