Usually been playing PCM on LAN, but since this function is gone we have to play over internet. There is a couple of problems that I've encountered;
Trying to create a multiplayer-game. My mate who I live with can easily join, but my friend who is at his place can't join. We can pick teams and start the game, he can join our game but dont get the option to pick team and the game starts without him.
Is this because of the ports that should be open(get this message when joining multiplayer-mode)? And how do you open them?
It is never problem free to play Pro Cycling Manager with mates, goddamnit.
If you get a message about opening the ports, then you should do it. I believe it is explained in the manual but there also should be plenty of instructions in this forum, try the forum search.
The manual and more technical FAQ could be found in the official forum.
Also another thing that grinds my gear with PCM, when you have a group ahead of the peloton then the "countdown" for sprints are using the group ahead as an indicator for how many km there's left. So when the group has passed it, you won't know if it is 1,5km or 1km (other than ingame indicators @ the 1km) for the peloton.
I believe you could see this on the marked rider @ PCM10 and 11 etc.
