Savegame doesn't show

I was playing a career game with the Jesleyh's Realname & Stat DB V2.
Everything was working fine, until today when I opened the game. Everything was refreshed; no games to load. The savegame was still in my documents so nothing changed there.
To mention: I didn't let the game update the patch the last 2 days.
After that I actually did the update, but nothing changed.
How to solve this? |

Try to start a career with the jesleyh's DB and check where it gets saved maybe save folder changed for who knows why, worth a try. |

I haven't changed anything like save-folders. It's just a game-crash I suppose. Don't think it's anything with my DB, at least I hope not

No one said it's your DB , his game has some issue most likely, just needs to find out what it is. |

1.Open your save game folder..
2.look for save game with ~
you need to rename this file make it name without ~.
before rename delete the save without ~ and .cdi file.
*Now it should work in your game.It's your save game corrupt I think. |

Hi
I have the same problem - save disappeared, the setting were restored to previous ones. I started new career to localize where the saves are kept. I fuond out that the original save is still there but it's not visible to the game.
Acc. to what #ticcque said, I check these files. And I have 3 of them: let's call them:
carrer_1.cdi
career_1.cdb
career_1.cdb~
So I think this solution will not work.
Just to by sure, I changed the name of these saves into "carrer_3" but it remains invisible to the game.
WTF??? Have you got any ideas what to do?

You could try and load from the weekly saves folder and only loose a few days.
Could be a profile issue.
Or, copy all the files in the profile (just copy the profile folder). In the game, delete the profile and create another with the same name. Them overwrite with the "old" files.

If you have a file called career_1.cdb which does not show in the game, then delete that file. Then rename career_1.cdb~ by removing the ~.

sounds like a plan! will try and revert with news!
btw, financial revolution most probably will force me to either use your editor, dear Lachi, or to start new campaign, what could be not a bad idea keeping in mind this is my first attempt with pcm13 and most probably i made couple unforgivable strategic errors (one new scout, two new trainers, acevedo and levi)

Lachi, itisix - thanks for replies! The winner is itisix  Your solution worked.
@Lachi: i deleted original file, then deleted "~" but the file have not reappeared.
So... we still don't have an answer to the main question: why it happened? can I do anything to avoid shits like that? Is this a game bug (am playing on patch 0.2 and use Real DB Names)? And let's agree that copying each daily save is not a solution

weekly, which seemed to me faster way
I played before 07 and 10 (a looots of time) using newest patches but anyway many bugs remained...
i wonder whether it's worth trying with patch 0.3? that most probably would cost me some efforts with finding new version of game... current one (and the keygen soft) is not adjusted to latest patch :/
