Game Freezes in Career Mode

I'm not sure if anyone can help with this. I just got the game and dont know how to trouble shoot anything yet.
I am in 2008 as Symmetrics and just finished the Reading Classic on June 4th. When I try to go to the next day the game freezes at the "day turn". I am running the latest patch for the game and the PackPCMSpain2007v1.0 database.
I'm not sure where the saved game is located in the Pro Cycling Manager. If you need to see that to help me, you'll have to tell me where it is and then I'll attach it.
I dont have a race on June 5th so you can skip that day if necessary.

There was a patch released for PCM Spain too - I don't know if it fixes your problem, but I guess it's worth a try. You can download it here:

If you don't want to lose your savegame then you can attach it for us to fiddle with. But it is allways nice to have the latest version of the db

You won't lose your save game by updating the database with the files I mentioned above. |

But he won't get any benefits from the updated PCMSpain surely?
I thought once you installed a new update including a new db you had to start a new career to gain the beneifts?

The package includes some missing stages and graphics which he will benefit from. If they changed some stats in the database, he won't benefit from it, but he will benefit from everything else included in the package.
Basically, the only thing you miss out on is database changes - if any. |

Thanks for the Spain patch. Unfortunatly it did not fix the problem.
Where is the save game file? I tried to find it so that I could attach it but no luck.

Spaces and other weird characters are not allowed when uploading the save game. Also, make sure it's the .cdb-file you're uploading, not the .cdi one. |

The cdb is 5.26MB but I've made a rar and tried to upload that. But that isnt working. |

if the game doesn't crash to desktop then just wait and wait and wait, it is doing stuff, it has't crashed until it crashes to desktop

I have the same issue but it crashes at June 10th, 2008. It just freezes at the "day turn" bar. I have to make a hard reboot to fix, it never crashes to desktop. (I waited for 10 mins or so)
I attach my save game with this post, if you manage to fix please tell me the trick so I can do it myself if it happens again

edit2: i tried proceeding with the game on another comp which didnt have the spain db installed and got passed that point. it doesnt have the 1.0.3.1 patch either though, just 1.0.2.0.
