Sorry for a thread again but i cant play the tdf in career mode. The first stage is ok vut the rest i cant play the rest of the tdf. All patches installed and realnameDb |

Consider posting such threads in the technical forum.
Also you have to give more information about your problem.
Why can't you play it? Does it work in stage race mode? and so on... |

Ok sorry, im in career mode andthe days just gies on and on. It works in stage race mode but not in career. When i played the first stage i thouht it was oke but when i pressed next day i couldnt play stage 2 and the rest . It doesnt simulate either Lachi wrote:

I have a similar sounding problem regularly, where the game seems to be running but unable to proceed in date and you're stuck on the same day, either with simulation or without.
But i've found that if you exit your career and reload, you should be able to get things moving forward again. |

If you have the problem described by robotDestruction, then his solution should work.
But I guess your problem is rather that the days go by but you cannot participate in the race. In this case, the only solution is to copy a backup from the weeklysave folder which is from before that problem occurred. Paste it into the save game folder and load it in the game. Obviously this means that you have to redo some racing but better than losing the TdF. |

Did you copy the file which was before the start of the TdF?
What happens with the weekly save? Does it work for the first stage? And then it changes again?
Does your game crash often? |

yes i copied it before the tdf and then tried it , the first stage works but then the days are going by , my game still didnt crash Lachi wrote:

This sounds like a very strange problem. And because it always seem to happen, I can only wish you luck with your new career.
If you already started a new career, you could test if the problem remains by doing this:
1. Close the game
2. Copy the save and rename it to Test.cdb
3. Load the test save
4. Simulate to the Tour de France
5. Test it.

I just had my new pc , downloaded the realname db and when i get to the tdf agian it just does nothing again |

Did you ever try if it is related to the DB? I doubt it but you can never know.
Play a career with the official DB as described above to see if it happens there also.
Another question. Do you always play with the same team? If yes, try if it is related to the team by starting with another team (but using the real name DB).

I did try it with the normal db and it worked , and i normallly use custom teams |

So you have a custom team which is Pro Tour? And the custom team only is bugged in the real name DB? In that case, you should inform the DB maker about that problem. |
