hello everyone!! asodb2013 I downloaded the patch for pcm 2012. Now I want to use a database that I created instead of the one that loads the game. How do I use it???
If you want to edit your own database then you need an editor. Which one depends on what you are doing.
If you are editing riders or team names you can use the editor that comes with the official release, if you are doing something more complicated you will need a different one like Lachi's, in which case once you have edited what you want, ( there are various guides on most topics) you can click export database and put it in i think my documents, pro cycling manager 2012, mod, database, then save it with the other databases.
For the official editor then I am not as sure but I think it is similar and relatively self explanatory.
For loading it, in game click the spanner and go to the furthest right tab and select your database.
PS in an editor the first place that comes up is probably the right place to save in.
PPS before you can edit you must extract the database.
Sorry for the long winded response I didn't 100% grasp the question and someone should confirm this as I cannot be by my computer atm
