Edited Andy Schleck's stats in my savegame, now hes gone

Just gone.

Heres what i did:
Extracted CDB Career1 (my savegame)
Changed his stats
Repacked
And now hes gone.
Saw another thread about this, back in 2006, he fixed it but didnt tell the fix Sad

The easy solutions are:
1. Take the backup (I hope you made a backup before editing)
2. Undo your editing

But it will be hard to help you because you could have messed up just everything.

@Lachi The thing is i edited the backup, thats why im a bit fucked, i might try and see if some of his stats is wrong in your editor.

Undo the editing i did try, but its only such things as putting his TT abit up

What do you mean with editing the backup? I was talking about a copy of the save before you started editing. If you did a copy, it does not matter which file you edit, you always have the other file which is fine.

Or did you edit the file in the weeklysave folder and overwrote it? That would be stupid but there are plenty of other files in that folder, so just take an earlier file.

Okay, here is what i did, i firstly edited the completely normal file and backupped it. It didnt work. I edited the backup file in the save folder.
I will try and load a weeklysave now, form yestererday.

Sorry for my weird writing, my keyboard writing isnt good today.


The WeeklySave worked, now how do i edit the right way?

The right way of editing:
1. Close the game
2. Make a copy if the file you want to edit (for your own safety)
3. Start the editor
4. Edit the the things you want to edit (Search for instructions in the forum or ask)
5. Save / Create CDB (depends on the editor)
6. Load the edited file in the game
7. In case it did not work, search for instructions in the forum or ask
