How do you set default database?

Cant seem to find the usual set as default database option.
Also after installing only the 2013 real name DB i can see 4 DB's in the list. |

Just click the line of your favourite DB and leave it so.
The text line with the DB should be highlighted darker.

Because the PCMdaily real name DB has 4 types of DB included:
PCMdailyRealNameDB-AngloEdition-2012NC: The standard edition with 100 teams and national champions as of 1/1/2013
PCMdailyRealNameDB-AngloEdition-2013NC: The standard edition with 100 teams, but with the national champions from this year (pre-Tour de France).
PCMdailyRealNameDB-2012NC: A database without the British/US teams and with 2012 national champions.
PCMdailyRealNameDB-2013NC: A database without the British/US teams and with 2013 national champions. |

So which is more up to date and includes more between the 2013 ones?
Also I can select a database for a stage, but each time i run the game it reverts to default DB. Couldnt you set this in previous versions? |

Kaimelar already answered your first question.
It should not revert to the default database. The selected DB should remain highlighted (or darklighted). Please check by selecting a DB, then closing the options, then going back to the options. If that works, but it will be reset after you have restarted the game, you have a different problem. But all of this discussion rather belongs into the technical subforum.

Okay when you say without British/US teams you mean no sky or RadioShack? At all or just not updated? |
