Steam Issues: Crashes

So, I've just bought PCM2013, and it should run perfect on my computer.

But, whenever I use the TAB to open the Steam hub, such as chat etc. - it crash.

When I load a 3D race, it crashes.

Any fixes or reasons for this? I have the latest updates, and I use the latest database from here.

It is sunday and this forum is not so active, so no need to bump your post.

About your steam problem:
If you have a problem with the game and steam, you should contact steam support and maybe the oficial game support.

About the game crash:
What do you mean with "latest updates". There is only one latest update.
BTW: Steam does install updates automatically, so if you manually installed any patches, that could be the cause of your problem.

Also, did you try to play the game before installing a DB? The problem might come from a wrong installation of the database after all.

Apologizes.

Yeah, latest update, as in the latest update that is up. Did'nt know there was only one.

And no, I installed the database and wanted to play right away. I followed the instructions, so I don't see how I did it wrong.

There are many people who installed the DB wrongly. You would see that the DB was installed wrong if some images are missing, for example country flags or team logos of teams, which were not in the official database.

Also you could try to play the Tour de France in single race mode, because these stages come with the game. If these crash also, you rather have a technical problem. In this case make sure that your computer is up to date regarding drivers and such.
