Hi,
I was wondering if there is any point in winning the sprinters/climbers jersey in small stage races.
Example: I won the climbers ranking with Kern (EUC) in the Tour Mediterranéan. I didnt't recieve any money for winning it. Does it have any impacts like happiness of the rider or sponsor hapiness? Maybe augmenting the riders stats in climbing or anything similar?
I mean if it doesn't affect anything it would nonsense to compete for any of those jersies :/
Hope someone knows who this works ;p
EDIT: And when i'm saying 'who', i mean 'how'

It is like in real life, prestige.
But aside from that your rider and the team might get points which is important if you want to promote. There should be a list somewhere in the game where you can see how many points you get for a certain ranking. |

Yeah there is a points list is under the results section somewhere. The points given are different depending on the classification of the race. |

And your sponsor might like it as well. Look under sponsers there should be a tab where your sponsor shows his appreciation for all the results you get which are not sponsor goals.
Even riding in the sprinters jersey for 1 day may already cause some (minor) content. Winning the green jersey in the Tour will definitly make your sponsor very happy.

Ok, i've looked this up now. I was actually wrong Kern won the overall mountain ranking in Etoile the Bessèges. Under Rules>Results>Scale it says, he should have got 20 Superprestige points and the team should have got 1,500 €. The superprestige points were added but the money isn't listed in the finance menu. Is there a bug that makes that one doesn't get the money or is there a bug that the winnings are not listed ? |

Since PCM13, the team doesn't get any price money anymore, so no bug. I guess Cyanide simply forgot to erase that part from the rules. Wouldn't be the first time

That has been discussed often now. Look around or try the forum search. |

The point is that in real life, all the price money goes to the riders. I think in general it´s pooled and then distributed equally among all riders (so if Froome wins a heck of a lot of money, everyone of his teammates gets his cut) |
