Haven't heard anything about a new no-cd patch, so I guess you'll have to put in the CD  |

Putting the CD in, is sooooo last month. Of course, the NoCD patch this site is offering is from a pirate-cracking group anyway, have some decency and say no. I think [ReLoaded] was the same group that uploaded (and pardon me for knowing this) the cracked version of PCM07 only some 12 hours after its original release.
I'd also like to point out that I, by my own money have bought PCM07 legally.

A version which came, how can I say it, f***ed.
They tried to fix it, as I know, but another "cracked" (because it only needed a certain version of emulation tools) version worked "fine" until patch 1.0.2.1.
As we know, that patch contained an improved version of Starforce, and they did't get to pass that thing. The only way to play with the patch 1.0.3.1 is having the CD. If you are so lazy that you can't take the CD off the case 3 days a week, remember that some games demand the CD in the drive ALWAYS when you're playing, or do the same as me and keep the CD at the range of my arm, to put in in the drive when the screen saying "Check Disk" shows up.

the downloadable version rather than CD version. It costs pretty muvh the same but you don't need a cd

I didn't remember that one...but that version is more expensive too, at least in this country. I prefer to have the CD and the case than having some files in PC, and the method to install more than 3 times would be more than used, because I installed the game plus than 25 times.

same here...and I've only used one activation. and I didn't need any stupid registry tricks. I just installed and reinstalled, etc. and it never asked me to activate the game a second time

I wish I had bought the download version - I have had problems with the starforce check in launching my genuine copy of the game, which were solved initially by the no-cd patchs available. I wanted to play with the latest patch however so I had to send various system information by email to starforce (which took 4 days) - I had to make several changes in vista to make this game work: unbelievable how much trouble starforce programs cause 
I'm hoping a new no-cd patch will become available, because I'm not happy with the security of my computer to enable starforce to run correctly. :x |

it's doubtful that a new crack will come out, because the latest patch has been available for months and still there is no crack
I just carry on, starforce doesn't bother me
