Water Bottles and sprints

is there a difference between a sprint with full water and without water? I don´t mean thewater of the water boy, but the remaining water in the bottles in the last 2 km of the race. I´m just a little bit curios, because the water bottles from my team are mostly full for the last part of the race.

So you fear that the content of the bottles is too heavy and therefore your riders are too slow?
If that would matter, then it would be stupid to not have a button to drop the bottles, right. But I am sure it doesn't matter, as the weight and size of the riders don't matter neither.
