Bongiorno, euhh.. my name is Boem, Nicola Boem. I just got fired by Bardiani because I was talking with the manager of Lampre - T-Mobile. Now I’ve only one choice and I must sign a contract by the new worlds best team. I also heard that Cunego renewed his contract by our team. The sponsors of the team are in the image below.
It’s just a real big honour to drive for this team. We have guys for the cobbled sections but winning in the big monuments is really impossible as there are two big cobbled teams Mapei – Quickstep and IAM – Garmin. They will probably win all monuments. However there is another guy who might have a chance: Peter Sagan. The Slovakian youngster will drive this year for CityGroup – Cannondale. Our chances are on the other hand much larger in the hills of the ardennes. We also have two GC contenders Damiano Cunego has trained the whole winter on the Zoncolan. He also had trained a lot with his tt-bike together with Adriano. On the other hand we have Kessler. He was caught on the use of doping in 2007. His previous team Astana destroyed his life by him to force him to take drugs . He actually didn’t know this. Kessler has trained in the Sierra Nevada with Jurgen Vandenbroeck from the Lotto – Colruyt team and the Dutchman Bauke Mollema. Kessler thinks Bauke can win the Tour de France this year.
My Teammates
Damiano Cunego
Matthias Kessler
Tyler Farrar
Moreno Moser
Matteo Trentin
Davide Cimolai
Mattia Cattaneo
Adriano Malori
Diego Ulissi
Fabio Aru
Valerio Agnoli
Mirko Selvaggi
Elia Favilli
Oscar Gatto
Enrico Battaglin
Sacha Modolo
Jacopo Guarnieri
Francesco Gavazzi
Simon Geschke
Dominik Nerz
Rick Zabel
Fabian Wegmann
Robert Wagner
Gerald Ciolek
Marcel Sieberg
Jan Barta
Mitch Docker
Andrey Amador
Peter Kusztor
This are my mates. I really hope we will get a very good season. My job is doing the lead-outs for Tyler. Luckily he found his sprinter legs back. We trained a lot together in Ghent. We also went much to the Flemish Ardennes where we trained together with Sep Vanmarcke (Mapei – Quickstep) on Christmas day. Tyler will also be our leader in the cobbled races. He can compete for some top ten places.
Oh,… wait I forgot to say something. Texts in red are texts of Krisa and text in blue are texts from other cyclists.
Una Grande Salute
Ciao
Nicola Boem

Ok now I will present you the second part of this story. You are all 23 year old cyclists. It’s time for the biggest stap in your lives. You know all have the choice to sign at one of the 2014 Worldtour teams. But before you will get a contract you have to fill in a form. Something important there are no free places by my team. Our riders for the competition are Moreno Moser and Fabio Aru.
Team presentations
Motorex
Level:3
Motorex is a very good and strong team from Switzerland. They bought BMC’s license. Motorex is definitely one of the best teams when we talk about timetrialling
Leaders
Astana
Level:1
Astana became a sprinters team after adding the Germans Kittel and Degenkolb to their squad. But for the grand tours this team is just shit. Seeldraeyers has learned a lot and climbs a lot better.
Leaders
Katusha
Level:3
Not the strongest team but they can surprise in the mountains and hills. Kristoff is also becoming a sprinter definitely a good team.
Leaders
IAM - Garmin
Level:3
The best cobbled team in the world, definitely better then the Mapei team. Spartacus has a lot of good helpers for the cobbled sections.
Leaders
Mapei – Quickstep
Level:4
Another good cobbled team they also can win their classics as they have Boonen and Vanmarcke. Less likely for the team, they lost Cav to SKY
Leaders
Belkin Pro Cycling
Level:1
Nothing really special to mention. Or,.. They bought some Russians for the Flanders Classics.
Leaders
Rabobank
Level:3
Rabobank asked their license back when they saw that Bauke can win a grand-tour. Kessler already said that to me. Bauke is in the time of his life it’s now or never.
Leaders
Turkish Airlines – Orica
Level:1
Turkish team which has not even one guy from Turkey… Team is totally based on Orica – Greenedge from last year. There aren’t big changes
Leaders
Lotto – Colruyt
Level:3
This team showed his growing potential. They bought some good Belgians like Gilbert and De Gendt. So now also a very good team
Leaders
Avianca – Specialized
Level:4
This team goes for the grandtour wins. The team has a lot of good climbers from Colombia but their best one is from the UK: Chris Froome.
Leaders
Alitalia – TAP
Level:3
Another strong team with Nibali as GC leader. With Pozzato they also have a good cobbler. Kangert will help Nibali in the GC’s but he can go for some young classifications.
Leaders
CityGroup – Cannondale
Level:3
Sagan stays the most important rider of this team but there are some strong American additions like Talansky and Stetina.
Leaders
FDJ.fr
Level:2
Not the very best team but it’s the only French Worldtour team. They have some very strong French guys like Voeckler and Rolland.
Leaders
Movistar
Level:2
They lost Quintana so Valverde will be the absolute leader. Other very important riders will be Serpa and Visconti.
Leaders
Euskaltel - Euskadi
Level:2
This team will be the second best team in 2014 as they added el pistolero to their team selection.
Leaders
Sky Pro Cycling
Level:3
Mark Cavendish went back to his former team. They hope he will let forget Froome at the team. They also bought his lead-out Gert Steegmans.
Leaders
Team Saxo-Tinkoff
Level:2
Bjarne Riis must find a solution to replace Alberto Contador and he was succesfull he found the two Schleck brothers.
Leaders
Now it’s up to you.

How many are we at now?
And did my cyclist manage to get at Avianca?
Maybe you can put the cyclists that are currently in per team in the post with teams?

First Team choice (needs to be from te same level as you):
but I don't like Avianca or Mapei
Mapei is a too classic focused team and Avianca is too climby

I think applying for a team lower than your level should always be allowed...
But atm, it isn't
So I decided to make a Colombian
