Easy enough for Cav/Greipel or is this another "Sagan"-stage (that he dosen't win). I'm starting to wonder if I want to swap Cav out of my fantasy-team :-p

I have only seen some recaps, because i'm on vacations, but this one will be for Sagan. He missed it out yesterday by a little fraction, so tomorrow he has this one in the bag. |

Nah, Sagan will lose it to Jens Voigt on the sprint. |

I want Chavanel to win this one. Fully expect an attack from him again, and he must win eventually. If not, then i think Kwiatkowski will be one to watch as well. Voeckler i would mention, but he was not going well on Corsica...
Sagan will be mixing it in there, but i'm really doubting his ability to win this Tour already. He had it in the bag on Stage 3 and threw it, albeit only just.
Impey must also be considered. He did a great job for Gerrans on Stage 3, and if he can repeat that form then a stage win is a real possibility.
Too hard for Cav's and Kittel. Greipel i expect to be dropped as well. Will be watching Geraint closely to see how he's getting on. Same with Cuddles, he was good on the flat, but was not looking that comfortable on some climbs.
Gerrans only leads by a few seconds over people like Chavanel, Kwiatkowski and EBH, so Orica may have to chose between winning stages and keeping the Yellow.

Isn't it a good idea to do a small preview of the stage(favourites, small backstory) each day? (Doesn't matter to me who)
Well, that may take a bit too many efforts
Ontopic:
I think this will be too heavy for Cav & Greipel.
Sagan is an obvious choice, but I'll go with a surprise this time, it's much more fun to go with an outsider. So. My call is...

Damn, beat me too it XD I think he will probably take the win this time though.
Incidently, I've no idea which thread I should use to say how freaking badass Thomas is for going 3 days now with a fracture pelvis. I almost felt sorry for Ted King getting booted out for missing cut by 7 seconds until I thought.... Thomas didn't get dropped until the last 1k.
I'm also tempted to ask how much juice you need to be on to ride with a fractured pelvis, but that's probably a Q for the S.D.T XD |

The stage looks hard in profile, but that's mostly due to the lenght. Climbs are not that hard, and the entry to Marseille is greatly in favor of the sprint teams.
I see Greipel as a huge favourite tomorrow. If any sprinter drops it could very well be Cavendish (alongside Kittel of course).
Impey needs to gain 10 stage classifications on Gerrans to take yellow . I reckon that will happen on Thursday - then they will get two days worth of riding each.

If he hadn't looked so bad on the climbs after the crash, I'd go for Cav. The final hills are really easy.
Sagan needs more climbing than this to win, so Greipel for me.

They probably won't let the break get too much room either if they are going for the stage win as well. Can't make it too hard for themselves. |

If this were mid Tour I would say a break but there still aren't big enough time splits to guarantee it. It will be tight though particularly if someone like De Gendt or Voeckler is in there.

Cav could win this, depending on how he feels - he claims to have Bronchitis. He will be motivated though, as its rare he gets to stage 5 without a win. |
