Hey there fellow Cycling and PCM Fans.
Hope you all enjoy the Tour de france stages on TV
Now i have been playing alot of PCM throughout the years, and i am a person who likes the min-maxing effect in almost every tactical game im playing.
So i have looked through the Tips and Tricks section, and noticed the Race Strategies where kinda "old" (PCM 09-11).
Anyone of you know if these strategies are still a solid way to achieve the goal you set for a certain race?
Like Hilly stages, Mountain stages where there is a downhill towards finish etc?
(Especially the last one with downhill towards finish, im interesting in).
Most of them will work I think. But I agree, some PCM 13 ones could be made...
And for a downhill, if sharp, I would say attack 'sprint' all the way to the finish, if you have a good downhiller.
Otherwise attack and then high dot.

When it comes to Cobbles and Mountain Top finishes or even uphill finish if your not position in the right in the fron your chances of winning is slim. I think staying in the front gives you a 50% more chance of winning or reacting to whats going on. I remember playing the giro and the road became narrow and I was in the front my team setting the pace and then they got passed so I put them on hold position but they blocked my gc guy while veryone else was passing on the left side so I got blocked in and lost 3 mins so road awareness and be in the front helps. Also don't react to every attack. crap shoot to pick the right one. Good Luck!!
