Cant sign new riders

hello,

i am currently playing a career with an custon made team. But in juli 2013 when i want to sign a new rider, I get a message that i can't sign the new rider because i don't have a sponsor for next season. But my sponsor is signed till 2015. Can someone help me?

Patch 1.0.2.0 solved this.

Thanks, but when i download this Patch 1.0.2.0, can i continue my carreer then?
Because earlier i started an other carreer, but when i downloaded the previous patch, for some strange reason i couldn't load my saved game from that carreer anymore. So i had to start all over again. Maybe it's related, maybe not?

If you use the quick fix posted by Jesleyh, then you don't need to start a new career. Installing the patch might force you to. At least somebody mentioned it somewhere in another thread.
