i haven't used Lachi´s planner before, but i think the new in-game planner is working quite well, have you tried that? |

Lachi's planner is better because you can assign whole groups to a race and race days are counted. But Lachi says that we should no expect his planner for pcm13 |

Indeed I didn't plan to release a planner for PCM13.
I haven't started a career yet (maybe to prevent me from having a shock) but what I have heard about the in-game planner is worrying.
I might be forced to release another version of my planner if Cyanide is able to fix the career bugs.
That said, did anybody check already if my planner works for PCM13? |

I think the in game one works brilliantly (for fitness once you've learned how to use it) unfortunately you can't assign individual races. This is no longer a problem though as there is no 60 race days limit. In squad selection you can see form and just select who's in best form (with the exception of building rythm which is easier than race fitness was). The only issue with the in game one is that the ai is competitive all year round. Putting froome and such in week long stage races eg tirreno adriatico. |

You might be right but that is not how I want to plan the season. I want to build teams around a leader and then assign them to races. After that I want to define the fitness training for each rider individually.
I don't want to allow the team mates to have individual goals. They have to work for their leader, they are paid to do so, they shouldn't complain about their race plan. |

I just ignore the complaining and treat goals as more of a time to be in form. I haven't noticed much adverse affects. I use pen and paper to assign each uci race to a rider and use the goals to ensure they're in form. it is much less accurate mind you eg. you have a little less control over there form. once you learn the quirks you can get it to be reasonably accurate. |

I programmed my tool because I was fed up with using pen and paper, so surely I will never do that again. Also guessing races to build the form I want is just too stupid.
Funnily your "positive points" about the in-game season planner make me dislike it even more. |
