activation key doesn't work

Yesterday, I bought PCM 2013.
Installation was no problem, but when I tried to start the game, I needed to fill in the activation key. When I did this, I got the message my activation key is not valid, while I only used the key standing in the inside of my box.
Can someone help me please? |

You should contact whomever you purchased the game from or the publisher, Focus. Look for a support link in the email that delivered your key.
It was eleven more than necessary.

Also check if you used the correct code.
Maybe you used a 0 instead of a O or something like that. |

@9Ball: He didn't get an email since he purchased a boxed version.
I agree with roturn, most of the time it's just a typo or a wrong read number. As far as I'm concerned, they never use an O in codes, so it's always a 0.
Inactive due to personal reasons.

I tried it several times now, but it kept saying 'activation failure'
reason: 'unable to connect to the activation server. Check your internet connection and try again.'
But my internet connection is just fine. Anyone a solution? |

Why didn't you tell this before? Giving wrong information when seeking help is not the wisest thing.
Make sure to run the game or the activation software with admin rights. And if that doesn't help, then use the offline activation. |

I don't understand what you mean with 'admin rights'?
And how do I run the game offline because when I push 'play', they keep asking for my key.. |

You right click on the program and click "Run as Administrator"

When I run it as administrator, the game keep asking for my activation key and then I still have the same problem as before.. |

I said offline activation, not to play the game offline.
BTW: Everything is explained in the manual. |
