Question concerning "recuperation" and "green use"
dieguitoch
Hi everyone,

I didn't play PCM2012 but with the Full Editor in the 2011 version in the DYN_cyclist there were columns named "gene_f_lastgreenuse", "gene_f_totalgreenuse" and "gene_f_green_percentage" !Do you know why I can't find them with the 2013 version of the game ? Is there any way to know how much energy we used in a race and how the freshness is calculated ?

Thanks in advance...

I just tried it in stage race mode, not sure if it is the same in career.

Before starting the next stage there are some windows like profiles and your starting team (team role, fitness curve etc.)

In the last screen before starting the 3D loading screen, you can open the fitness curve.

It`s exactly shows you how much energy you spend on all race stages and a fitness curve.

It`s still a bit bugged if playing a variant as the shown stages are from the original version, but the fitness curve is the correct one.

Yes, I've seen this panel but it's not "precise", you only have 5 possible steps. In the editor of the 2011 version you could see very precise numbers of green use which helped me to understand how I spent my rider's energy.

roturn
What do you mean with 5 steps?

If you mean excellent, good, bad etc. then you misunderstood me.

You can open a window there, where you get a precise stat between 0 and 100, which exactly shows the actual "fitness".
Also you will get a green curve, where you exactly see how much you spend on what stage.

Ok, I've just checked and I've seen what you mean ! But, and I don't know why, this pannel doesn't exist in career mode and that's really annoying ! Don't know if this is a kind of bug but, if not, that's a weird choice from Cyanide !

Thanks for your answers...

Did you read the manual? I didn't play the game yet but the manual says you can see it in the career. I have the german manual and I don't want to translate, but it should be around page 10.

dieguitoch
Well, I'm probably stupid (as many tell me), but I can't find the manual !!! I bought an online version of the game and I can't find the manual in the installation folder !

Thanks anyway for your answer and for your editor !

Lachi
If you bought the game from official store (focus) then you received an email containing several links, one of them should have been the manual.

dieguitoch
Actually the manual was on technical support page of PCM 2013's forum. I've found what you were talking about on page 10 but it's referring to a "rough evolution", step by step (only 5 steps) instead of the 1-100 scale that can be seen in the Tour mode. So I guess that this "subtle" scale can't be seen in career mode which is not a good news for me and I don't really understand why it is so !

roturn
Just tested in career.
It`s actually exactly the same than in stage race.
Just at the window with the rider roles at that race, you have those small buttons, that will open the fitness curve.

You have the used energy there stage for stage as also a curve for freshness, fatigue and rythm.

Lachi
OK, if not stupid, then blind Pfft
Just joking dieguitoch, maybe it only appears in the second stage of a race?

As I am stupid I don't know how to post pictures so here are links to one that shows the pannel in career mode :

And here's one that shows the "same" pannel in Tour mode :

As you can see, they are different... no 1-100 scale and green used in career mode ! Don't you have the same différences ?

I'm probably stupid but, for now, I don't think I'm blind ! Wink

True they are a bit different.

Might be because in tour mode there they start with 100% and get less fresh with the days.

And in career it instead shows the fitness level. So in your case it`s the highest fitness level it seems.
When racing in career the rythm line definitely goes up as well.

Not did a lot of testings yet, so this might not be very accurate.

dieguitoch
Yes !

But I still don't understand why they don't show the "green use" in career mode ! It would a lot more useful than the "fitness" that we can see on many different places ! And the 1-100 scale gives a lot more information as well !
Let's hope Cyanide changes it in a near future !...

You are right, this tour graph is much better. Lets hope they change it.

Though it looks more credible like this. Still, I won't click the link anyway Wink
