Is there any way in this game that someone has used a far superior team (in my case uran, pinot, hesjadal, pozzovio, nieve, majkas, pouels, kelderman, gillbert)(you should see my cobbles and hills squad in the same season for 580,000) but no real Favorite' to win in mountain stages. I find it extremely difficult to execute anything like team sky without follow command being available. Even then not really sure how to use this team to my advantage.
-get all your train wagons to the very front of the peloton using individual effort, but don't let them lead yet.
-Using individual effort, sort them by climbing ability, so that the weakest climber is in front and your leader is at the back of your train. Make sure you first put your front rider in place.
-Put your front rider on infinite relay at your desired effort. Next, put everyone else on normal relay behind him, and make sure they are in the right order. If someone is out of order, you can have him drop by clicking 'hold position' and then take the right place in the train by hitting relay at the right time. If you need a rider to move up in the train, use individual effort to get him further up and then hit relay again at the right time, to make him join in the right place.
-From there on, just control the effort. You can put it quite high as your front climber isn't as strong as your other climbers. Once your front climber is empty, have him hold position and click infinite relay on the next rider in your skytrain.

do you think this tactic can be effective with the second or third best climber (unlikely that froome contador and nibali will be at the giro or vuelta)when my team is so ridiculously dominant
Btw I started a new career (due to injuries. Hesjadal injured in early stage races where he is my leader and injured during giro, gillbert during Ardennes and uran during giro ) I have since replaced pinot with Rodriguez as I discovered to win the 2013 giro they need to be awesome on hills. I think he might be good enough to beat nibali with some luck. Is sky train the best way to do this.
I might use both your tactics. Kelderman, talansky and powles to set a hard pace and isolate favorites. Pozzovivo, niece, hesjadal to launch attacks until favorites crack. Iran protecting Rodriguez as he rides past them
i am properly not the best tester of this tactic, due to, that i haven't used it that long.. but when i use this( i am Sky), and Nibali or Contador attacks, i can stop it a few time, but if they get a small hole, i cant reel them in? what would you do, counter attack? or just keep pushing the tempo up??
something i don´t understand, i make a mountain train as described, halvway up a mountain Wiggins(form 2) starts to loose energy when no of my other riders seems troubled, even though he is the one with the least effort, he got a team mate on him, and he is at the bottom of my train, why can this be?
