My career game crashes when simming ENECO Tour stage 2 ( Sittard - Sittard).
I'm a continental team, so I can't play it myself... Guess that career is wasted... |

Maybe you can fix it.
First thing you should check is if the stage is OK by looking at the profile.
But in any case, you could replace the file of the stage with any stage you know was working. (Just don't delete the original file).
If that doesn't help, you could skip the day. Instructions can be found in the tips and tricks of this forum. |

Unfortunatly, I have the exact same problem. With that I mean it crashes if I try to sim on the same stage. Have you Muggert try what Lachi said? I can play the stage, but not sim. I hate playing team time trials. Can't get the hang off it. |

What do you mean, "I can play the stage"? Did you try to play that stage in the career or only in the single stage mode? What happens if you try to sim that stage in the single stage mode? |

I could play it in career, but not sim it. I now tried to sim it in single player mode and that worked just fine. It also works if you play it in single player. The only thing that doesn't work is to sim it in career. Which I now find very strange. |

I think only Cyanide can help you then. You could try to contact them and send them the save of your career. |

I fixed it the other day. So heres what you do.
Start -> My Computer -> C-Drive -> Programs and Files ( on my computer this is called programs (x86) -> cyanide -> PCM 13 -> CM_Stages -> find the 2 files called t0_Denmark_01_2012.cds/zdes and copy those. Put them somewhere and rename them to top_benelux_02_2013.cds /zces remember to make the zdes file called .zdes at the end and the same with the cds file, just with cds at the end of course. Then you take those 2, and replace them with the files that currently is called top_benelux_02_2013.cds / zdes. Once youve replaced them, you should have a stage in eneco tour called ''esbjerg'', this is from the tour of Denmark. And this should make you able to go further in your career. Please tell me if it helped otherwise i might've missed out on something |

Yeah actually. You might want to use a weeklysavefile
start -> my documents -> PCM 13 -> WeeklySaves -> Take the one above, and put that into -> users -> your name - > database -> solo -> The database that you have. And load that in the game. ^^
You might lose a couple of days. but you should be able to go past the eneco tour. |

ZharpGaming, thank you for a very detailed and good answer. But it did not work for me. I forwarded my problem to the Cyanide technical support, and got this in reply:
Please update the drivers of your graphic card NVIDIA GeForce 320M on this following link : https://www.nvidia...index.aspx
After I updated my drivers, everything works fine.
Thanks for all the help for now. |

I used the above method to get past the sittard-sittard stage and it worked brilliantly so thank you for that, however, I tried the same method when the game kept crashing on day 1 of the vuelta and it wouldn't work. Any suggestions?

I am not sure which method you are referring to.
To fix the ENECO problem, you should use the fix from Cyanide posted by aj54. Obviously that fix is only for the ENECO tour, so you cannot use it for Vuelta.
Or are you talking about replacing the stage files? This only works if the files are bugged. You can check this by playing the stage in singe stage mode.
If the stage is fine, then obviously you have another problem. There are other threads as mentioned before, so look there too.
But the skipping of a day should always work, so most probably that what not the method you tried. |

If you really had the problem with Eneco-Tour then it would have been enough to install the latest patch. Replacing stages is not needed at all because the error was in the classification file. |

With my vuelta crash, I tried the failing stage in single stage mode as well as in stage race mode and they both worked fine, it is just in the second year of my career that it doesnt work. The latest patch claimed to sort the problem but it hasnt for me. |

I am not sure what you are talking about. The vuelta is not the Eneco Tour.
And if you are in the second your of your career, then you have to test the stage of the second year in single stage mode in case you didn't do that.
