When I click to play the game...after loading the screen cuts off the right side. So, I cant play due to not being able to click some items on the right. The screen is full, nothing missing...just too "big" to allow some things tp be clicked. On 1 setting, I couldnt click NEXT on my profile...so couldn't do a thing.
I have an Acer laptop, and the monitor I am using is a Dell. I have tried every setting for display size I can think of. Nothing has worked. Yet if you play a game like World of Warcraft (fiance has done it), you have no issue.
Can anyone give me a step by step on how to fix the settings? It is almost forsure a simple thing I missed. However, I can't figure it out at all.
If you could answer here or email me (faster)
Thanks in advance. Ill try to get a screen shot so you can see what I am talking about.
As you can see from the screen shot. I can get to this point. But now if you look to the right...I cant alter settings, exit or anything. And cant advance my season.
This is is my setting:
Display-1/2 multiple monitors
Res- 1024x768
The highest I can go is: 1280x720...but it hasnt helped.
My monitor states:
1024x768 is ok but 1440x900 is perfect. My laptop stops at 1024x768

Did you try playing in windowed mode? That'd allow you to move the PCM-window around as you like.
I think I have, I have tried so many things I have forgotten many. It seems like the setting for the game and the monitor dont work together. But, I know that can't be it. Because others play the game on monitors that are not there laptops, and it works fine. And I know that it isnt just 1 monitor that will work.
I'll give that a try and report back. It just seems that with the bigger monitor that everything got bigger...and when the game did it made it too large to beable to click some areas. I mean yes, it got bigger, the monitor is bigger lol. If I could get it a size I could get to game settings...I'm sure I can locate the right setting there for the monitor. Sadly, as you can see in the screen shot, I cant click the game settings button.
1. Find out what your monitor's resolution is.
2. Open My Docs/PCM12/Config/GraphicConfiguration.xml with Notepad.
3. Change ResolutionWidth and ResolutionHeight to anything lower than your monitor's resolution, e.g. 1280 and 720.
4. Set Fullscreen to false
5. Save and run the game.

Here's what I'd do more specifically:

2. Open My Docs/PCM12/Config/GraphicConfiguration.xml with Notepad.
3. Change ResolutionWidth and ResolutionHeight to anything lower than your monitor's resolution, e.g. 1280 and 720.

Hopefully, this will work.
Not real sure how...but I got it to small enough I could click game settings. Changed them...and it worked, only fear is if it reverts.
