lots of weeklysaves lost?

I am in the 6th month of season 2018. today I can´t find lots of my weeklysaves and the latest saved game now i 29th januray. All the other files seems up in smoke. Yesterday my dad was visiting me (wasn´t home then) and he called me and said that the computer got some problems with overheating and stuff.
Don´t know if those two issues can be related, but anyway I wanna know if there is a copy somewhere of the weeklysaves. Otherwise 5 months of my game have been lost :S |

Weeklysaves are not needed to play the game. These files are just backups of your actual save. Obviously there is no backup of a backup unless you did it manually.
If you have a problem with your actual save, then there is even another backup, which is in the same folder as the save. The file name is the same as the save and has a ~ at the end.
The save is here: my documents\pcm12\user\your name\database\solo\name of db\ |

ok, I found it. but what should I do with that file that has that "wave" at the end. coz everytime I load latest save it is still february instead of june. Should I copy the file (with the wave at the end) somewhere? |

Why don't you try and remove the "wave" thing at the end?

Sorry, I forgot to mention. You have to remove that ~ to be able to load it in the game. |

I tried that but it´s still the 2nd february. What I think has happened is that when the computer got problems with overheating it Went back to a time when the computer worked, or something like that. Like a reinstallation and therefore all the savegames are lost. So if there´s no other solution besides the one above then my 4 latest months are pretty gone, it seems  |

I have never heard of a computer which can go back in time.
Also I doubt that a recovery does include your personal files but this could easily be verified by checking other files in "My documents".
But like I said before: If you didn't made a backup of your files and if you cannot find the lastest files, then obviously these files are lost. You could download a file recovery tool but I am not sure if it is worth it for a game. This would be a free tool: https://www.pirifo...a/download |
