CPU riders can't go on training camps, so if you go on training camps with your riders they will have an unfair advantage. |

Exactly
The Team Leaders
Leader
Alejandro Valverde
Our most complete rider, can do everything except riding on cobble stones. We have had a hard time deciding his program, but in the end it looked like this.
April: Pais Vasco, Hilly Classics
May: Tour de Catalunya
July: Tour de France
September-October: Fall Classics
Our hopes is that he will be able to win Pais Vasco, and at least 2 classics. We also want him to take that podium finish in Tour de France that the sponsors want.
Co-Leaders
Vladimir Karpets
A talented stage race rider that will get some good chances this year.
March: Paris-Nice
May: Giro d'Italia
August: Vuelta Espana
Leader in Paris-Nice he will try to get the top 3 that the sponsors want. He will also ge the chance to lead our Giro team were he will have a top 20 place as a goal. After that he will take it easy for a few months returning as a helper in the late season with the Vuelta as the big race.
Oscar Pereiro
Here is another good stage race rider, a bit better then Karpets. He will also get to lead a grand tour team.
March: Tirreno-Adriatico
June: Tour de Suisse
August: Vuelta Espana
Leading the team in his three primary races of the season he will have hopes on him of winning all three. |

I dont think that background works very well, no, and it would certainly annoy me.
I dont understand why the 70+ skills dont show up as green? |

Mallorca Challenge
First Sponsor Goal: Win the race
Team:
Leader:
Alejandro Valverde
Sprinter:
Markov
Helpers:
Garcia Acosta
Perez Arrieta
Berthou
Efimkin
Stage 1/5
Here we have the early break, it has 6 riders in it including our Berthou. The clearly most dangerous threat for us here is Gesink, but it's doubtfull the break will stay away.Quickstep and CSC has already taken control of the race.
19km left and it's all back together. Time to prepare for the sprint, Markov is tired, so we will try and get Valverde in a good position. Biggest favorites are Bettini, O'Grady and Pozatto.
Here is the sprint about to start, we managed to get Valverde on Pozatto's wheel after fighting for it the last 5km. Bettini and O'Grady both have a better position, so we will have a hard time here.
Stuart takes it, with Pozatto powering from 8th to 2nd the last km, we will have to watch out for him in the GC. Tom Steels completes the podium in 3rd, and Valverde is 5th just behind Bettini.

Mallorca Challenge
Stage 2/5
Today's break is without Caisse riders, Moerenhout is the strongest of the six.
They get a decent lead, but again with 20km left the break is caught. Anohter sprint will decide the winner.
The sprint is starting, this time Valverde has Flecha's wheel.
Really close sprint, but again O'Grady has the extra strenght to get the win. Valverde is 5th yet again.

Stage 3/5
Menchov is in the early dangerous break
Here we see him leading them up the big climb. Sevilla and Nibali is trying to join them.
Double attack, Efimkin and Valverde is trying to catch up with the front group
They do it with 37km left, now it's time for Efimkin to keep the gap to the peleton
He works completly alone, but still manage to increse it, Sevilla and Nibali is the only ones able to keep up
It's going to be either Valverde or Sevilla, Nibali is having some problems. Of the two Valverde should take an easy win.
and he does, even creating a big lead. First win of the season for Valverde and Caisse

Alex, your stories are always a pleaure to read. How did you use Efimkin to keep the gap? Did you put him on infinite relay at a high percentage? |

Thanks everyone
@0buKKaKe: His form was 62 points when the race started, and 70 points when it ends now. After this he will lower his form again and get ready for either the classics, or Volta a Catalunya. Depending on how Rodriguez Oliver and Zaballa can do during March month.
@cmfos: I used 99% and relay, he was the only one working in the breakaway group, so I decided just sacrifice him to keep the gap for Valverde, was much easier then I thought it would be. |
