I know there has to be thread for that but I couldn't find it:
I'm playing career for Netapp-Endura and in default, sponsors are paying less than is the sum of rider and staff wages. That means I'm -40k euros every moth. Because it's almost impossible to win 40k on races every month, I need an advice how to edit money in my save game.
Well, open your save-game(My docs/PCM 2012/Users/Database/Solo/Your DB) with an editor. (using extract DB when opening editor)
Then, go to Dyn_Manager to edit your current money(Not sure what's the table called, but it speaks for itself)
I'd advise to edit sponsor money per month though.
For that, go to Dyn_Sponsor, and the table with money(table is easy to find again) Pay attention, its yearly budget where you are looking at, so 12 monthly budgets
Then, export to .cdb (on another name is preferable), and load the career, and it works...
There's probably already a topic, but yeah
Edit: For an editor, go to the PCMdaily download section, and download Lachi's editor.

Thanks, it works. Now I have 1,3 million/year budget 8)
Releasing the staff wouldn't help it, I have released my only scout already and, sincerely, I can't do without coaches. Because since PCM stopped using that experience advancement rider system which made it kinda' dull game, because in real cyclist are advancing with ridden races more than from training.
At the beginning of the career, you can select the economic difficulty. Depending on that setting the game calculates the initial sponsor budget. If you select normal, the budget is exactly the wage of the riders. If you select easy, it would be more, if you select hard, it would be less.
The problem with continental teams is that the rider wages are very low compared to the wages of the staff. So you have to select easy, and then fire all the staff except one or maybe two cheap trainer.
After you won some prize money, you might be able to sign more staff just don't forget that you pay their wages even in the off-season, when you cannot win any prize money.
I think you can select the length of the sponsor contract at the start of the career when playing a custom team. In this case select one year only. This allows you to search for better contracts or get a better contract offer from your actual sponsor. In any other case, wait for the contract to run out to improve your financial situation.
When playing a Pro-Tour team, there shouldn't be any problems with finances using all the features of the game like the sponsor goals.
