Right then to say goodbye to PCM 2012 I have decided to host my own Race were you will decide your team, lineup and equipment.
Most people choose a world tour race or a Gt of some sort but to spice this up I will be using the Irish International Race
"An Post Ras"
You may choose from the following teams:
An Post Chainreaction- Ollfardh
Blue Water Cycling- kopfan
Atlas Personal Jakroo- fjhoekie
Rapha Condor JLT- welker3257
Node 4 Giordana- Sutty68
Team UK Youth- ManxMissle
Team IG Sigma Sport- the_hoyle
Team Raleigh- Jesleyh
Madison Genesis- Taken
and Thüringer Energie Team- Selwink
Im planning on making this a bit of a team race were you will get points for: winning a stage, sprints, kom and team gc and of course overall gc, so if you have a team with no real gc contenders you can still win overall if they have a good sprinter etc.
An it being the Ras it is very unpredictable
Points system:
Spoiler Stage Win ;
1st:10 points
2nd:8 points
3rd:5 points
4th:3 points
5th 1 point
Stage Sprint/Kom
1st:3 points
2nd:2 points
3rd:1 points
Under 25 stage result:
1st:5 points
2nd:3 points
3rd:1 point
Sprint/KOM GC:
1st:15 points
2nd:10 points
3rd:5 points
4th:3 points
5th 1 point
Under 25 GC:
1st:20 points
2nd:17 points
3rd:15 points
4th:13 points
5th 10 point
6st:8 points
7th:5 points
8th:3 points
9th:2 points
10th:1 point
Overall GC:
1st:25 points
2nd:15 points
3rd:10 points
4th:10 points
5th:8 point
6st:5 points
7th:4 points

Are there any advantagees a small team can get over a bigger one, or is it just deciding roster? I like the idea of a small race BTW

Nope, will there be some sort of scoring system which makes it more likely that a small team wins?
