I have edited a career game in the fast editor, but when I enter the career, the changes have not been done. I've saved them in the basic position(Documents->Pro Cycling Manager->Weekly Saves->Kqyt)
Have I saved them wrong? What should I do to make them work?

You need to overwrite the solo with the edited weekly save. Its what i do
Users > Database > solo

I think I saved it wrong, because now my whole career went 1 month back in time(the one I am writing a story about). That is not good. What could I have done wrong?

Get the wrong weekly save, every weekly save comes with a date, so in your career that would probably be 1-14 or something. Thats the one you should edit. Have you backed up your career BTW?

even if you've gone back 1 month yo should still have at least 2 more recent weekly saves (its in the name)... and always back up your story career... should add that to the Guide!

As said before, the save is here: My Docs/PCM/Your Username/Database/Solo/Name of your DB/. If you edit the files from that folder then everything should be OK.
But apparently you edited one of the backups, which are created automatically by the game. That makes only sense if you want to fix something, for example if you want to replay a race or stage. In this case the correct way to edit would be:
1. Copy the file from the weeklysave folder to the above mentioned save game folder.
2. Do the editing
3. Load the edited file in the game
Now to your problem:
If you replaced your save with the edited file and didn't make a backup before, then you fucked up your story. The best solution to get back some of your career would be to copy the latest file (see date in file name) from the weeklysave. See description above.
If you have not replaced the file, then go to the load screen in the game and load the career. |

I can't find the weekly saves.
This pic is from the map you mentioned above (Database/Solo/Name of your DB/ ) The name of the career is "Karreire 6"

You should edit the Karriere_6.cdb (not cdi or cdb~) and when you save it, give it another name

How can't you find the weeklysave folder if you posted the location in your first post? |

No problem. Speaking in foreign languages doesn't make it easier for many of us. |
