A short flat stage finishes this stage race.
Nobody breaks clear before the first sprint, Lay and Dekkers have a massive struggle for the points.
Lay just holds off Dekkers with Cano third.
Points standings:
Westra 50
Lay 39
Dekkers 24
Murakami 26
Cano 26
Henry Raabe keeps trying to nip off clear.
But the pack want a procession.
Lay easily takes sprint 2 ahead of Dekkers and Sutton
points standings
Westra 50
Lay 45
Dekkers 28
This sprinting could be hurting some of these sprinters energy, there is another one circuit before the finish that will probably really scramble things.
Gazelle completely control things before then.
Dekkers denies Lay in this late sprint bonus, Sutton is again third.
Points situation:
Westra 50
lay 49
Dekkers 34
JK Cycling look to take advantage for the stage win of the other sprinters messing about in the bonifications as they set up a perfect sprint train with 3km to go.
Itami, Uuganbayer and Peeters lead out with Guardini, Cano , Sutton, Day and Manan on the wheels.
Allianz and Iberia have attempted to set up trains.
Coyot, Carrara, Dekkers with Sohrabi and Lander in the wheels.
Toribio, Nesset, Lay with Sai-Udomsin and Makino in the wheels.
1.7km to go: Lay and Dekkers have trouble moving up as JK hold a great position.
Guardini cannot hold Peeters wheel.
Peeters eases past Uugunbayer in the home straight, Sutton is battling Cano and Day in third places.
Lay in the green jersey is staying on quite well.
Peeters is the easy winner.
Sai-Udomsin is a surprise second ahead of Sutton, Lander and Green jersey winner Lay.
Westra comes home in the pack to take the Kumano tour, Sai-Udomsin was in that leading group yesterday and takes an excellent second place overall and the youth jersey with PCT teams taking 2nd, 3rd and 4th on the overall. Evian securing 4th, 7th and 8th.
Lay comfortably takes the points crown over race winner Westra, with Dekkers taking third. Iberia narrowly take the team jersey ahead of Gazelle.

Final GC
No doubt about the GC winner with Westra winning the two decisive stages. Marakami gave home fans a lot to cheer but Westra smartly tracked the Japanese's wheel on stage three. Thailand rider Sai-Udomsin made his name a bit better known with the young Frenchman Koretzky just missing the podium.

Points
Lay got his hands dirty and fought for intermediates rather than saving himself for the stage win. Still makes it a solid tour for Iberia, Dekkers and Sutton looked fast at times but could not land the big win that Peeters did.

Mountains
It was a case of be there on stage 3 or don't bother. Meiji perhaps unsurprisingly keen to score points wherever they could on their home course.

Youth
The Thai surprise takes the youth jersey away from Koretzky, Evian doing well to score with a loanee here. How about Mongolian rider Altanzul excellent third place on youth and 7th overall.

Iberia couldn't grab a podium on GC, disappointing for a rider of Sammy sanchez's stature but they did edge Gazelle and the youthful Evian on the team standings.
