I have what I think would make a great Tour de France, but I can't seem to figure out how to use the stage editor to even make the short prologue. Could somebody help?
The "king, queen, and jack" stages are 7, 14, and 16 in some order...7 is almost identical to the 2012 Stage 16, except instead of going over Peyresourde, it goes up to an MTF at Vignemale. 14 starts at Nice, goes up the Col d'Eze, Castillon, a climb I can't identify at about 85km, Saint-Martin-Vesubie, and then La Cime de Bonette. 16 starts in Briancon, goes up the Galibier (via the Lautaret), Albiez-Montrond, Col de la Croix de Fer, Alpe d'Huez (via a new side, the Station de l'Olmet...about 4 km would need to be paved), and then down to Bourg d'Oisans.
#1, how do you guys like the route (there are minor things that could be worked on, such as that first week and the Strasbourg-Metz stage), and #2, could somebody help me convert that to a useable tour on PCM? Thanks!
A few too many big mountain stages for my liking. Also, you might try to include a few more hills on the flat stages. They're very one-dimensional at the moment. Finally, I'd also throw in a hilly stage or two in the first week to make that more interesting.
I also think you're underestimating how much work it is to create a whole Tour. Would take weeks to finish.

That was my first thought as far as the flat stages, that I needed more hills and hilly stages. I think in some cases the winds would split the peloton into echelons, but I'm not sure if that applies to PCM.
As far as the mountain stages, yes, there are quite a few of them, but I feel like they are counterbalanced by an abnormally high quantity of time trialing mileage.
Further, I bet you're underestimating my underestimation of how much work it is to create a whole tour. I frankly have no idea. All I know is, I couldn't figure out how to do the prologue even in the most basic form, even after watching quite a few youtube tutorials.

To make a GT to any good, releasable level it should take at least 1-2hours per stage.
Also if you don't know how to make a stage yet you should start off just trying out all the various tools first. Start with simple stages to see how everything works first then build it up from there. I've been making stages since PCM10 and i still havn't attempted a proper GT
