Pan flat opener, should be one for the sprinters. Several are here so should be an almightily tussle in perfect near windless conditions.
Last place on GC Mundle nips clear early doors.
He is going for a long solo one. He'll take the two sprints and their 12 seconds time bonus to take him nearly level with race leader Westra.
Behind him Cano nabs second and the first sprint and Makino is third.
Both riders catapulted provisionally into the joint GC lead as they were 3 and 1 second back on Westra at the beginning of the day.
Cano takes more time on the second sprint, this time with Carsi in third over Makino.
Allianz, JK Cycling and Risa do the work to pull Mundle back.
JK Cycling and Iberia make the sprint trains.
Toribio, Bystrom and Lay is Iberia with Nishitani, Day and Dekkers fighting for Lay's wheel.
JK have Itami, Uugunbayer and Peeters with Manan, Sutton and Guardini in the wheels.
First drop and JK Cycling have a couple of lengths advantage.
Iberia's first drop Toribio blocks Nishitani and Day out of it. Dekkers having manoeuvred himself onto Peeters wheel.
Peeters makes his move with 1.7 km to go.
He goes well clear with Seb Lander who was hanging around at the front.
Has Peeters gone too soon? Behind him Dekkers, Lay, Cano, Manan, Guardini and a surprising name Marakami are involved.
600m left: Lander fades.
400m left: Peeters ties up.
Dekkers and Lay look favourites to overtake.
There is the line.
Lay just takes Dekkers on the line, Nishitani nips through for third.
Sutton fourth, Manan fifth, Day is sixth and Peeters fades to seventh.
