I just started playing PCM 2012 and this is my first time playing PCM. I cannot seem to win any stages.
I have started out just playing flat stages, as they are probably the easiest to win. I have the AI on normal and it seems that they always overtake me at the end of each stage. I have the lead and control over the peloton throughout the stage, but then in the last 3km before the finish line they just overtake my leader (Cavendish).
I have at least 3 guys protecting Cavendish until the 3km and then I usually attack with Cavendish, but always end up on 10th place or worse.
You should check out one of the tips in the section on this forum. Otherwise, form a sprint train or get in the wheel of another favorite (Cav in the Greipel train for example)
You shouldn't attack so early, the best time to attack with your main sprinter is between 1,5-1km with cavendish and 1-0,6km if you have a worse sprinter. With sprinters like 77-79SP try to sit on other sprinters wheel using Follow button and then attack on the final kilometer.
You shouldn't attack with the sprinter, you should get a lead-out on dot(3rd button on action bar) and then follow him with a few other leadouts and then Cav.
Stay on high dot, and if your front guy is empty, then use the next guy, and so forth.
Start your leadout sprint at 1,8km or so, and Cav at 1,3-800m(depends of down or uphill)
