A short crit in LA to finish off the Tour of California. For GC candidates the task is to stay on their bikes, meanwhile a number of sprinters will know there will be no hilly excuses for lack of speed today.

Guerao and Griepel in particular will be confident of challenging the usual suspects.

We are on our first of the seven 8km circuits today and we see a break of eight riders.

Greipel and Impey are looking a little out of it with Holloway and Granjel Cabrera in great positions. Reynes is doing great too.
