But he doesn't jump to the lead. Rijntjes had a very strong ride it seems so far.

20 or so more riders are through and some new faces are at the bottom of the top 10 but the top 5 remains the same.

He doesn't even make the top 10... 19th, 14 seconds off the lead. In a strange twist it looks like the riders that started early have a clear advantage over those going now.

The 3rd rider out of the gate takes a stunning victory where the morning riders out shined the late starters for no real reason. The wind was constant all day and the weather didn't change at all, weird. If the remaining 8 stages are like this we are in for a wild and wacky tour.
