Hi there.
I am Chuck Lee and I am the new manager of Ferrari Cycling Team. Here’s a bit of a background on how I become manager and the team.
Well how I became known by the Ferrari Cycling Team was that I was known as the racer in the factory. All my life I lived on a bike. I even raced for 15 years at a professional level. I competed in all grand tours and raced with teams like FDJ and even Rabobank in their early years. They were great to me but when I got injured I didn’t get a new contract with a World Tour team and was stuck racing for Drapac. I didn’t mind as they trained and the HQ was in my home country of Australia but I missed the world class level. However that didn’t stop me and I got Drapac into their first ever World Tour race. That was Paris Nice which I was the leader. With my climbing ability and the help of the other best climbers in Australia we won a stage and I got a podium overall. It eventually became a thing racing in France and the next year I came back with Lachlan Norris by my side and actually won the race overall. I was 36 at this point and we also got into some of the smaller World Tour races like the TDU (which I also won) and Classica san Sebastion (I came 3rd to Gilbert and Andy Schleck). The next year I ended my career and continued my career as a mechanic at the Ferrari HQ. I would ride to work every day and that’s how I got known as the racer in the warehouse.
When I was 40 the team announced they were looking for someone who knew the ropes of cycling. I went to my boss and told him my story and they selected me to become the new Director Sportive of Ferrari Cycling Team.
The next day I turned up in a suit like instructed and went to my boss. He said he wanted me to select a team with a budget that we could use. I was Australian and the company Italian so we selected all Australian and Italian riders. The team looks like this.
The Leaders
The good thing about this squad is that the oldest is 23 years of age.
This is a young squad and can definitely get better over time.
Here are the sponsors.
Main Sponsor
Bike sponsor
We were very happy when we signed this company as our bike supplier. Felt has agreed to give us bikes and mechanics to make our team look great as well as ride great.
Clothing Sponsor
Another big sponsor to sign with us. They are Puma. They have decided to make us a team kit. Full with everything. We are really looking forward to this season with all this great looking stuff.
The other Sponsors
To make up the numbers and the funds two more companies have signed with us. They are DMT and Emirates. They are mainly here to give us funds but they have a big chunk of the jersey and we are all looking forward to the season with these great looking kits.
Well I will seeya soon for the Australian Championships.
Bye for now
Chuck

Seems promising, but the stats are a bit out of date, why don't you make this story with the 2013 DB? |

Thanks all guys. I didn't expect all this support. And I don't have a 2013 db but if you have any idea on what stats I should do then please post or PM them to me.

@Krisa- Maybe Maserati will be the sponsor next year
@Mrufo- I would download it but the Internet won't let me. 8GB a month. We have new one with 200GB a month But it won't hook upto my computer.
@Kaysmit- It will. Unless Ulissi gets better.
@All- thanks for so much support. Means a lot

Australian Championships
The Squad
Route
Start List
Well the first race for this new team. With a strong team we are hoping to take a top 5 and if we are lucky, the win.
The Race
Howard going for the break.
Lines also decided to try and get into the break today.
The team couldn’t get the break so they decided to try and make it a sprint.
Almost the whole team on the front except Calabria, Bobridge and Howard.
With 40km to go there was a break of 4 riders. It included O’Grady,
Matthews, Roberts and Shaw. They had 1.28 on the peloton lead by the team.
Bobridge and Howard attacked with 30km to go.
With 8km to go the favourites attacked.
The break still had 2’06” to Evans.
3km to go and Roberts has 26 seconds on O’Grady and Matthews. Can he
hold them off?
The gap between first and 2nd
Results
My Reaction:
Well the guys really tried but fitness wasn’t on their side. We are definitely going to keep trying and hope that it changes in the coming races.
Seeya soon

P.S. This is going to be my reporting style. Sort of like the CCC story except with full reports for big races. Hope you like the new style. Comment if you have any concerns about it.
