Hi,
Can somebody help me get a new (and working) downloadlink for the Cyanide's Official DB Editor for PCM 2006? The one in the downloadsection is broken.
Thanks in advance! |

the official database isn't really good, I suggest using PCM fast editor as it can be used for PCM06 database, and the downloads work

Well, I downloaded that one. But when trying to open the database (well, the savegame actually) it gives an error which says that 'the savegame cannot be found'. Very weird, because of the fact that other savegames do actually work and this one as well in lets say .. the Hannes Converter.
Are there any other savegame editors that can be useful and with working download link? |

I've included the official DB editor with the english translation in my Strategy pack: https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....pid=692949
So you can download it there. And yes, it can edit save files. |

Where in the .zip file can I find it then? I've read the additional content, but cannot find it in the .zip file. |

You have to run the installer (.exe file) to extract the files and the Database Editor. If you do not want to install the strategy pack for you game, choose a folder where you have not the game (I.E. "c:\test" ) Then go into this folder and retrieve the "DB_Editor" folder.

I cannot remember but it should be easy to find. Create a new career, then search for it. Either by name or by date. Ask google how to search for files by date. |

In your PCM game directory: Go into the "Database" folder, then "Solo" folder, then you should have a folder with the name of the database used. The saves are here:
one .cdb file
one .cdb~ file which is just a backup of the cdb
one .cdi file
You can edit the .cdb file with the editor |

thanks guys, I found it it turns out that there are two folders in different locations. C:\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2006 and C:\Users\Win7Ult64\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Saison 2006
the save game was in the second one (I didn't even knew that there was a second folder)
