How to edit database and how to add it to the game?

Hi,
I use Lachi's editor and I want to change the 2012-database (OfficialRelease) to the 2013 database (I know there are a lot of databases here made by others, but I just want to do it by myself).
I tried to change all team names and add Argos-Shimano to UCI-World Tour. I managed to change it in the Lachi's editor, but in-game (at 'Create new-career' ) I did'nt see any change. Still 18 teams in the Cya World-Tour and still Rabobank instead of Blanco.
I see the results in lachi's editor when I re-open the cdb-file, but I don't see it in game. Could anyone help me?
I have to excuse me for my, sometimes, bad English. I'm Dutch and my typing-English is not very well...

Don't forget that you have to edit the .cdb file in My docs/Pro Cycling Manager 2012/mod/database, not the one in users/your name/db/solo/ etc...
You should click 'export to .cdb' after editing, and not save.
Also, if you save it on another name, don't forget to select it in the options in-game.
Should be one of these 
Still don't understand why you just don't download the PCMdaily 2013 DB, sk many more features!

I tried it another time. Is just edited Lampre-ISD to Lampre-Merida, I used 'Export to cdb' and when the editor asked me if I wanted to save the file before closing it I chose no. The a window appeared where I could give it a name, I called it 2013, and I pressed 'save'. The I opened PCM2012 and when I wanted to change the in-game using database there just was the database 'OfficialRelease'.
What did I wrong? |

You should click yes when asked to save, yeah.
And are you sure you are editing Mod/DB and then official release?
After editing, look if a file called 2013 in Mod/database. If not, you've edited the wrong .cdb or haven't exported to .cdb properly

There is no 'mod' in my 'C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Seizoen 2012'. There's a 'C:\Program Files\Cyanide\Pro Cycling Manager - Seizoen 2012\Database' and that's what I'm using... |

No, it's in my docs/Pro Cycling Manager 2012/Mod/Database like I said in the second post!
Game uses that map in my docs for .cdb's.
