Now that the real playoffs are rolling, I'm going to do a little playoff simulation, using my self-made rosters (most stars are reverted to one of their older teams), 8 minute quarters, letting the CPU decide how it goes. Lastly, it's no PC, Xbox or PS3, it's played on my phone. So a mobile Playoffs!
Important transfers include most big names, LBJ (CLE), D12 (ORL), CP3 (NOH), the Suns with Nash, Detroit bad boys together again...

After fighting through four quarters, the Philadelphia 76ers managed to hold the Atlanta Hawks off the win. Despite the good performance by Joe Johnson, who dropped 23, they were unable to beat the great bench, that Philly has. One of the other reasons were the lack of help in scoring from Joe's teammates, as J-Smoove and Al Horford didn't get to 20 points combined. The 76ers were getting a production from Elton Brand and Andre Iguodala, but also their bench led by Lou Williams and Thad Young did nice in this game.
Arguably the smaller team of LA put on a strong show against the Utah Jazz. Jamal Crawford led the way, having a great night, putting up 23 points on the board. His biggest helper was Nick Young, he was the biggest sidekick for Jamal. Blake Griffin struggled a lot during the game, couldn't find his way to take good shots. That can be said too about the Jazz as a whole. Deron Williams was inefficient, but he managed to get 15 points of their 77. The big duo of Millsap and Big Al scored 13 each, while Favors led the rebounding for them. Overall, it was a disappointing night for the Jazz, they already lost the home-court advantage.
A heartbreaking loss for Detroit against the Bulls
Game 1
DET@CHI (45-43) 89-91
Close game all the way, no leads over 5 points. It was always going to be coming down to the wire. Last minute, tie game at 87. Sheed with a nice move from the post, Pistons lead, but Boozer gets the quick jumper to fall. 35 seconds left, Detroit goes for the 2for1, but Stuckey is unable to convert. The Bulls have the last possesion, Rose with the ball. 5,4,3,2,1 and Rose hits the jumper! What a pocket by Rose, over Billups! 89-91! Last chance for the Pistons, but Sheed misses the rushed jumper! What a win for the Bulls! 22 points by Boozer, 20 by Deng, Rose recorded a double-double, 18 points and 10 assists! The Pistons did great, but they just couldn't hit in crunch time. Sheed was their biggest scorer, he reached 18 points, while Billups finished with 10 assists.
Disastrous play by the Hornets, they couldn't generate good shots at all, many attempts at the end of the shot clock. There were no sets that worked well particularly. When you have one of the best PGs in the game in Chris Paul, you're basically not allowed to have no philosophy at all. In contrary, the Trail Blazers did nicely working the ball around. A sign of good team ball is when you can score over 80, with nobody scoring above 15. Matthews and LaMarcus Aldridge got 15 both, while Oden and Lillard also put up decent numbers. Not to mention Batum, who was electric, almost recording a triple-double. 9 PTS, 7 AST, 8 REB. Quite impressive, no?
