Roubaix, Amstel Gold, Fleche Wallone and Liege predictably make a significant impact on the ProTour standings.
Here are the scores each team totalled from the Ardennes trio:
Spoiler

It was only after Liege that the triumphant Koenigsegg stormed into the lead, as Pokerstars start their slide downwards.
The Swedish leaders are looking strong right now, but the Grand Tours may not be their strongest terrain, and they are drawing near. They will certainly be pleased with the gap on their likely contenders though. Milka and the ever-consistent Wiggle are going well, but do they have the firepower to really challenge for the top all season long?
Things are very interesting behind on the sliding scale down from 5th to 17th. Just 750 points, all teams are close to a great position but also not far away from that dreaded relegation zone. Simply Red Bull lead the way by now, which probably just gives them all the more reason to anxiously look over their shoulder.
Aker-MOT enjoyed a great Ardennes, with 2 victories and then their highest score of the 3 at Liege. That sees them jump from 17th into the Top 10, just ahead of Vesuvio who had a shocking Ardennes, well below expectations.
Heineken and especially Puma have started their expected slides downwards, and along with UBS are currently separated by just 5 points. Pendleton's average season has continued, but they are just out of the relegation zone above Team B&O. Pluchkin is their prime asset, yet they have thrown away some of his race days over the last couple of races.
Venchi and Bacardi won't enjoy the gap that is ekeing out, and it goes without saying who are bottom, and by how much.

Sam Bewley's Paris-Roubaix victory gave him a lead over Boonen in the Individual standings, and that remains in place. Trofimov and Hagen both climb two spots to now find themselves 3rd and 4th - going ahead of Pozzato despite the Italian continuing to race and score some points.
Bakelandts and Ponzi remain in the Top 10 but in a different order, and are joined by Schumacher and Van Garderen.

Springsteen. Altough it looks bad for Santander, I have a feeling they are going to score so much point's in the GT's and they will recover.

Two big calls right there, bit early at this stage, no?
Or is miracle the new nickname for Madrazo
Aker may well end up safe, due to the large amount of teams whose sole goal is avoid relegation - some of them are guaranteed to survive - but this has been their best run and theyre still not far above the drop zone.

SN, miracle is for both Madrazo and Tenorio.

We actually lost very few to direct opponents.
(wishful thinking and a lot of abstraction now)
Pozzato should already be low on race days, so it's Brajkovic versus VDB+Bennati.
B&O needs a really good season from Pluchkin, and there's not a lot of air left to breathe at the top for stage racers.
If Burghardt continues to disappoint, it's Ricco+Intxausti versus VDB+Bennati+600 points.
Venchi should obviously be left behind.
Santander needs a huge GT points haul, and even though that was to be expected, it's far from an easy feat to make up that much, with a lot of sprinter's and cobbler's races still to come as well after all.
That would be 5 beatable teams. I definitely need Bennati to perform in the Giro and the flat classics though.

Yes a large pinch of salt is required with these rankings. The Grand Tours are big points scorers for those that have the ability to win them.
In the Vuelta Madrazo is surely going to be on fire and then Santander will come to life. Ricco showed signs at La Doyenne of his strength and he is another really big GTour rider.
Venchi, Pendletons, Puma, Heineken do not have a lot of real stage racing talent - they will fade I suppose.
At the other end, no real obvious stand out runaway leaders. Koeniggsegg are pretty decent all round, certainly ahead of Pokerstars in stage racing. Milka and Wiggle are pretty strong all rounders, with Vesuvio still I suspect with plenty of Schleck magic left. Though the older Schleck has been a let down.

Was expecting a bit more, but after the Fleche Wallone fiasco, this is not bad. Probably the top 10 goal will be achieved.
This was probably the last season when Gesink will go for all the classics. Next year's it's all about one week stage races, before making the step to Grand Tours.

That's way to early to say. For Santander's case, I'm about 100 percent sure they'll stay up, with a decent margin as well. I suspect Tenorio and Madrazo will cover pretty much every stage race including mountains there's left.
Last season they scored 1200 points in Tour de France, and almost 2300 points in la Vuelta. If you add that they're likely to contest all three Grand Tours this year with either Tenorio or Madrazo, they should get well inside the safe spots, I think.
Speaking of our team, SN is spot on. Spilak is racing both Romandie and the Giro. A crash or fail there, and we're suddenly in huge problems. After the Giro I have to rely on surprises from our team, except from Boasson Hagen on the hilly stuff and Spilak in the Dauphine. But there won't really be many races after Giro d'Italia where we'll have a team strong enough to score big. At least on paper.
Though, we could very well relegate with Spilak making great races both in Romandie and Giro d'Italia as well
Though, if he delivers in those two, we couldn't really have done much better in the first half of the season, and then I'll be very pleased with our overall performance for the first half of the season whatever happens
It's really going to be an exciting season, both for the crown and the relegation spots. And with so few points separating 5th to 17th, there really is everything to play for in every race, and especially in the Grand Tours.
But it really is way too early to think about relegation and the winner, I think. That's something for the last month of racing. For now, I'm looking a lot forward to the coming stage races, should be some great and entertaining fights between the big GC guns.

Well, these 3 Ardennes classics didn't make such a big difference as I thought. It is looking quite good for me right now, as I should have a solid point scorer in every race left except of only 3 hilly races - Classique du Grand-Duché, Tour of Norway and Giro di Lombardia.

Never thought Pearl Adidas would be as close to the relegation places as the top-3 at the point in the season where the team had the best chance to be closer to the top on paper. Doesn't bode well for the following months.

I wouldn't characterize a one place drop as a slide into relegation oblivion just yet SN
It's more like the breath before the plunge
Pozzato has 18 race days left, which includes Northern Europe, which should be a decent race for him.
Eastman did a decent ride at Liege, which hopefully bodes well for the Giro, though I think the Vuelta will be too much for him.
And Brajkovic is finally making his debut with Romandie, then California.
Reallly there's only a few races that I have 0 chance of a top 10 in, so I think survival isn't totally out of the question.

I'm hoping that most of the reason that we are so low is because of the cobbled races. We've got some serious ground to make up though.

Pleasantly surprised with our position, all down to consistently strong performances from Van Garderen and Summerhill.
This year will be based around steady point accumulation, but if Denifl goes well in the Vuelta and some of the other small races the team may have a shot at the top 5. Really looking forward to seeing how Phinney will do in the Giro.
Santander should be easily safe with their GT prowess, and I expect Vesuvio to rise going forward. Hard to pick a favorite right now.

I wouldn't decide on anything yet even on the fate of Santander. It is very very close and the season is not finished yet or let's say we are not close to the finish line.

Santander has the mountain to climb. Good for them that they have the climbers able to do that.
Btw, where is MB lately, he is waiting for GTs to show?

A very solid start for Wiggle in the classics (cobbled and hilly). Nothing amazing, but just consistency seems to be paying off this season. I imagine I'll be scoring significantly less this season in GTs as I will undoubtedly miss Popovych, Kritskiy and Bibby, but I'm positive that the 1000 point buffer I have should see me through all three GTs. A little more consistency with the shorter tours and the remaining one dayers and I'll hopefully remain top 10 by the end of the season.
I'm looking forward to seeing Santander's climb from the depths of despair into the glimmer of hope. Swiftly followed by teams ranked 13-15 panic.
