TT
Ed Clancy was an early leader, only to be beaten by Paul Manning by 1 second. But there were only two men that the crowd came to see today: David Millar and Bradley Wiggins.
Millar was the first to go and he was very quick! Cummings was the rider before him and is a decent TT himself, but Millar nearly caught him! He came into the finish and took a comfortable lead.
As soon as he finished, Millar knew he had won. Bradley Wiggins had only gone through the first checkpoint in 6th, and although Wiggins would recover to 3rd at the 2nd check and then 2nd at the finish, he still lost nearly a minute on Millar.

The breakaway:
Downing, Brammeier, Haynes, Southam, Rowe and Megson.
With the brak's gap under control it's time for the favourites to step forward. Millar, Wegelius, Cummings and Wiggins attack!
But Cummings isnt strong enough to stick with the other 2.
They pass most of the break before catching Hamish Haynes and Luke Rowe.
And they dont waste any time in dropping them! On the final ascent of the main hill, Millar appears to be struggling a little.
But heis able to catch up again in time for the sprint - but will be able to compete with the stronger Wiggins and Wegelius?
Wegelius leads the sprint up the 5% incline before the route flattens for the final kilometre. Millar is gapped slightly!
Can Wiggins find a way past Wegelius? No! Wegelius is the new British champion!
Wiggins 2nd (Again), with Millar 3rd.
Steven Cummings hangs on for 4th, only just ahead of Hunt and Hammond.
