I´ve started a story with Movistar (with db 2013). At the beggining of the season, I´ve signed with Valverde, Quntana and Costa new contracts, although anyone of them finish their contract in this season (I use to do that since pcm 2010, for have longer contract with the same salary or less). During the season i´ve sing other 2 cyclist of my team for very low salary, so at 1st of July i have for the next season 22 riders signed of my 2013 team, and a salary mass of 337.000 € for the next season (the maximum is 600.000€)...
I was so happy because there is lots of top riders that are free for the next season... And I felt so sad when I tried to sign them, because I only can offer the minimum (2.000€) to any rider. Indeed, the 30 of June I tried to offer a renovation for one rider and I can offer the top of the salary, and 1st of July only 2.000 to the same rider...
I have 3 theories:
1) Now i´m in red numbers, and that´s why I only can offer the minimum salary.
2) If I sing a new contract with riders that weren´t in the last year of contract, the mass salary add twice the salary for the next season.
3) It´s a bug of the game and I´m a bad luck player.
ive had similar experiences. even with lots of cash it limits my offers. not sure if its a bug or what but by the end of july it usually stops limiting me. strange...
